Most days I can be found chasing my two wild, country kids on our eight acres in central Indiana. We may be catching frogs or throwing rocks in the river, but I can assure you they do not have shoes on and most likely their hair has not been brushed.
I stay up too late and drink way too much coffee. I grew up on a farm in Illinois, live on our dream property in central Indiana, and wish I lived in the mountains. Growing up, our summer vacations out west were where my spark for photography ignited. Watching my dad lay on the rocks, capturing the perfect wildflower shot on his Nikon film camera stirred something inside me. I have always had a need to "create", and creativity is in my genes. Getting the opportunity to create and capture beautiful moments between families is truly a dream come true.
I believe that at the end of the day, your feet should be dirty, your hair messy & your eyes sparkling.

Splashes in the creek, belly tickles, messy hair & muddy toes, the smirks and side-eye grins, their head on your chest & legs tucked in tight, the scrunched up noses & wet kisses, the long winded stories & never-ending "watch this!" Those are the moments we want to freeze in time.

We have enough going on as we live life in fast forward, it seems. Scheduling a family session shouldn't be added stress.
Let me help! From selecting outfits that are just right, to choosing the perfect location, and in the end, creating a fun and relaxed session. I want your husband to walk away saying "It wasn't so bad" and your kids saying "That was fun!"
Our session together will be laid back & fun. No need to stress.
Watching your tiny babe grow into a cuddly toddler who then morphs into a stubborn five-year-old, on to a spunky nine-year-old and beyond... I want to come alongside and freeze each stage in time. Each year they loose a little more baby squish, gain a few extra teeth (and then start to lose those teeth), and grow more independent. We don't want to forget any of it. As exhausting as some stages can be, we'll look back in a few years and miss those moments.
Together we will create timeless photos that will make you want to come back year after year.
